I will give you my thoughts on altcoin season

If Bitcoin ($BTC) can stay strong and keep going higher into the second half of the year (Q3 or Q4), then we could see the next altcoin season (when smaller coins pump) play out in a familiar way.

Usually, before altcoins go up big, the market goes through a “fear zone” — a period when prices are low and people are nervous. This fear zone often lasts about 140 days.

After that, altcoins start to rise as people become more confident. Based on how long we’ve been in this fear zone now, the next pump could begin sometime in August.

the important chart is that shows how altcoins (excluding BTC and ETH) move. In both 2019 and 2023, this chart hit a low when people were scared, and soon after, altcoins pumped. In both of those years, Bitcoin made a “lower high” — not a full breakout, but still strong — and that still led to big moves for altcoins.

So yes, a small altcoin rally might happen earlier, but the main altseason is more likely to start around mid-Q3 — especially if Bitcoin holds its position and confidence returns to the market.
