They had entered a trade at the perfect price. The chart moved exactly how they imagined. Profits were stacking up.

But then came the hard part — when to sell.
They thought, “Maybe I should hold a little longer. What if it goes higher?”
So they waited.

The price did go higher… for a while.
But then it crashed back down.
By the time they sold, most of the profit was gone.

Why You Need an Exit Plan

1. Emotions are bad decision-makers

3 Simple Exit Strategies You Can Use

1. Target & Stop – Set a profit target and a stop loss the moment you enter. Stick to it.

2. Scale Out – Sell part of your position at the first target, and let the rest run with a trailing stop.

3. Time-Based Exit – Decide you’ll close the trade after X days if it hasn’t hit your target.
